ADEX in Romania: DAS 2008

ADEX representatives attend key conference and networking meetings in Europe and abroad, as a means to ensure broad exposure of the ADEX technology to the marketplace and to learn from other leading industrial professionals about developments in optimized process control. Recently, ADEX General Manager, Mr. Ken Slaven, attended the 9th International Conference on Development and Application Systems (DAS 2008) in Suceava, Romania.
Conference participants were from across Europe and from as far away as Iran and Japan, from institutions such as Ecole Polytechnique de Lille, Kiev University, Tehran University of Technology, City University of London, Munich University of Applied Sciences, Polytechnic University of Bucarest, Moscow Aviation Institute and many others. In all, some 78 technical papers were presented over the 3 day event, and some of the more relevant topics discussed at the event included digital systems in process control, intelligent control, data transmission and remote control.
ADEX actively participates in both the industrial and academic spheres to stay abreast of the most recent trends in the area of industrial control and optimization, and to interact with thought leaders in areas of strategic interest to ADEX. ADEX also attends similar events as a means to promote potential collaboration projects within the Framework Programme 7 and other regional innovation plans.
