Last month ADEX was featured in Automática e Instrumentación – a leading Spanish-language technology journal. As a respected industry publication, Automática e Instrumentación (AeI) regularly features leading Spanish and multinational companies and their technical projects of interest, in the fields of industrial control, instrumentation and software. In the article, ADEX´s application of optimized control to Repsol YPF’s petrochemical refinery in Puertollano (Spain) was featured.
Specifically, ADEX helped Repsol YPF’s on-site control professionals find a way to better control – and ultimately, optimize – a nafta C-30 splitter process. The industrial production improvement project helped the company to better control the quality of their process outputs, and also to minimize the environmental impact on the local community in which the facility operates.
