Several international utilities come to talk with us and explore how their Thermal Power Plants could be more flexible and dispatchable.
We were very proud some of our existing customers stop by to say hello and have interesting debates about the challenging environment they face, with the integration of Renewable Energies.
Our CEO, Jose A. Martinez, was also a speaker in one of the Hub Sessions. Under the Life Cycle Management stream, he spoke about how AI may help Thermal Power Plants in their effort to be more competitive and be more dispatched by their TSO.
His pitch was full of real case graphs which made some utilities gripped their attention and engaged with him after the session.
Finally, Jose A. Martinez was invited to the panel about “Digitalization in Generation”. He shared the stage with Siemens, STEAG and Uniper.
The session was chaired by Oliver Then, Managing Director of VGB PowerTech.
An interesting debate was held about drivers and benefits of Digitalization in Power Plants. Some controversial opinions made the debate very useful and plenty of flavors so attendees got a wide view of the topic.
